You are being told to be SELF-FIRST, to be SELF-FULL, so you have the energy to apply the mask to yourself first! - Help yourself first... love yourself first... take care of yourself first... so you can then, safely, assist others.

Our inner intentions are the most important element in this principle. Simple things such as saying thank you, giving someone forgiveness, smiling, and sharing good words, is a gift of love for ourselves and a gift to others.
